My cable modem finally works again! You know what the cause was, a freaking squirrel, lol.
I've really been enjoying this weekend. Friday was the game against Valley Forge, so I went with my friend who goes there. It was pretty funny being on their side for some of the time. I have concluded that our school and even the people there are much better. My friend introduced me to this guy who asked me out, but I'm not sure what I want to do about that yet... long story. As soon as I got home I went to Nader's house. Brent was there already and we ended up sleeping over. Last night the three of us went to Java Joe's, then to Ellen's for a while, and finally downtown. I loved every moment of it! :)
Also yesterday I went to my dance teacher's wedding at St. Francis. I haven't been to a wedding in a while and it was beautiful!

I got my temps yesterday! Oh yeah, I'm so happy! Also, school has been going well (judging from the first two days, lol). All my teachers seem really nice, although when it comes two work, we may see totally different personalities. Mrs. Polcar can be so weird. Since she gave us her address she was talking about how this is too early to become friends, so if we see her to just wave or say hi if we see that she's not busy. She also said she would try not to give us a lot of homework if we work hard and quietly during class. I think that's good, though. The only problem is we have a very loud class. :) So like I said, so far so good!

Today was the first day of school, but I don't have time to write about it at the moment. My first jazz class of the year is also today. I promise I'll update soon! :)

Last night I slept over Nader's house. It was a lot of fun, I'm so glad I got to! My mom didn't even tell poor Richard where I was, so he was completely clueless when I got home. Speaking of that, my mom's mood changed yet again. She likes Richard now, I guess. She apologized and they've been talking, kissing, and hugging all morning. I also got to talk to Luke last night. I have to find more ways to since Richard ruins that for me. If only he'd let me be on the computer late, at least sometimes like in the summer. I've always been a night crawler anyway.

Yesterday I spent the day at the zoo with Nader. Of course, our zoo is not the best, and the animals should be treated better. Oh well, we didn't pay that much attention to the animals anyway since we were talking the whole time. When he dropped me off I noticed my mom wasn't home, so I figured she went to the gym or something since she's been acting juvenile lately. Sure enough, this morning she told me that's where she was, but when they closed she just drove around for like two hours. She didn't even tell Richard where she was going because they had a fight. In fact, they were fighting this morning, too. God, what happened to hippies... at least they believed in peace! :)

Last night Nader and I saw Signs at Cinemark. It was opening day, so of course a lot of people were there and talking through the movie. That was okay though because it was worth talking through. I saw Zak and Jonathan there, too with some other people they know. The night was great as always!

Last Wednesday through Friday I wasn't home because Amanda took me to some house her dad was staying at near Great Northern Mall. It was pretty fun. The woman who lives there has a pool, and Amanda and I got the house to ourselves a lot of the time because her dad was off taking care of business. The whole time Amanda kept trying to find evidence this woman lives with another woman and they're lesbians. She kept saying things like "That's an awful lot of food for one person to be living here" and "It doesn't look like someone sleeps in here" and "Look, there's two chairs in front of the t.v. in the master bedroom" Actually, it got quite funny after a while. Anyway, I also went to the St. Charles carnival with some friends from other schools, some were St. Francis friends, too. That was a lot of fun. We even went on that moon walk thing that's supposed to be for little kids, lol. I'm glad I went!

I just got off the phone with Jessie Borowski. I know her from St. Francis, but she kept changing schools beginning in sixth grade. She wanted me to sleep over tonight, but I'm going to tomorrow night instead. We're going to walk to her sister's boyfriend's baseball game, too since I'm going there around two. Speaking of boyfriends, last night I had a dream I was holding hands and hugging and doing all this cutesy stuff with this guy... I really hope I get a boyfriend soon!

I was planning on posting last night, but of course I wasn't allowed on the computer when I got home. Yesterday I spent all day with Amanda since she just got home from vacation. She wanted me to go bathing suit shopping with her since she hadn't bought one yet this year. We ended up going to Parmatown and then to SouthPark. Afterwords we went to the pool until closing (8:30). Today I went to the pool with Amanda because I promised her I would. We talked with some people we know, one of them being Adam Pie. It felt great talking to him again.

I thought I should update although nothing really special has been happening. Maybe I'll turn my journal into one of those journals of all quiz results and surveys for a while. Lol, those are so much fun. I've been happy though, I am so glad it's summer! Fourth of July is coming up, too! :) I love summer! (heh, if I haven't stressed that enough already)

Yesterday I finally finished my English assignment! I am so happy I got it over with. I also had a dream last night it was the first day of school, and I was in English class. (what a coincidence) Too bad it was a dream... I had better people in my class and a better teacher. Heh, oh well. :)

Happy Belated Father's Day! Yesterday I didn't do too much since it was Father's Day. My dad wanted to go to a movie, so he said he would be at my house right after 12:00 mass because the movie started at 1:30. Sure enough, it was an extra long mass because it was sort of a farewell mass for a priest who didn't exactly belong to our parish, but he used to be our organist. Surprisingly, everything turned out perfectly because the previews for the movie didn't even start until about 2:00. When I got home Richard and Sarah had gone to the St. Anthony Carnival, so I didn't give him his card and present until later, but he liked them a lot. :)

Richard has to work today! Woohoo this is the first Saturday since he started work this year. On Wednesday I went to Six Flags with Chris. It was not crowded at all even though the weather was nice. We were staying until closing, so toward the end we got to go on the Villain repeatedly (with the exception of the Batman once) at night. It was awesome!
On Thursday Amanda's dad took us to Cedar Point. The only ride he went on with us was the race horses, lol. He goes skydiving, so the roller coasters bore him. The first ride we went on was the Raptor. The line was long but it moved so fast! I'm not used to fast moving lines, but it seemed that every one of them did- probably because all the coasters run two or three trains all the time unlike Six Flags. Anyway, there were three guys in line behind us for the Raptor and one of them lamely kept trying to talk to us. I think he liked Amanda, but she's not very social around strangers, plus she never realizes when a guy is hitting on her. We saw the same guys in line for the Gemini, and ended up racing them, even though we were way behind them in line. (They waited for the front seat) During the ride when we passed them we waved to him, haha. THEN, we headed to the Mean Streak, and the same fucking guys were behind us in line! They didn't say anything to us this time though because their dad was with them. We saw them once more by the swings, too. On another note, Amanda and I went on most of the coasters, but the Wicked Twister was closed. I especially enjoyed going on new coasters since I'm used to the ones at Six Flags that I've been on thousands of times. The feeling of surprise is the best! I almost didn't get to go on the Mantis because Amanda was terrified of it for some reason. She'll go on any other coaster in the park, but she was scared because this one went upside down standing up. In the end, I got her to go on it because I really wanted to, and I knew she wouldn't mind it once it was over. I was right, but she wouldn't shut up while we were in line- "Megan, seriously, I'm scared. Please don't make me go on this." "I'm not making you do anything, Amanda." "Good, then let's get off. There's still time." "No, you've made it this far. It will be fine." "Look! Water! Drowning!" "Amanda, that's better than concrete." "Oh. That's true."..... and so on, the ENTIRE line. Plus, there was a little eleven year old girl in line with us who had never been on the Mantis either, and she wasn't scared one bit. So we were talking to her and ended up riding with her. We saved Millennium Force for the end of the day. The only ride we went on after that was the Ferris Wheel. Amanda was freaking out on the Farris Wheel because she was afraid we were going to be late so she kept wanting to jump out. Yeah, real smart. The Millennium Force was GREAT! The first drop was so much fun, and the whole atmosphere of the station and everything was really cool, too. I will be going to Cedar Point more often from now on!
That night I slept over Amanda's house, and now I'm going to try to concentrate on the stupid English assignment we have. I want to get it done so I won't have anything to worry about.

It's finally summer vacation! My Spanish final today was extremely easy. English was not bad. Some sections were hard, but some I had no trouble at all with. After finals we traced our hands and wrote our names and the date inside them so Mrs. Kirk-Hill will always remember our class. After school I went to the mall, then to Amanda's and shopping with her mom and her. That's about it for tonight. Happy summer! :)
